I took it for about 5-6 ...Don't fear the Arava! I took it for about 5-6 years and had a great run...was actually productive and at the top in my career despite occasional moderate flares during those years...nothing like now. We have no idea why it quit working...we initially thought it was because we had started on generic instead of name brand (was it coincidence that it stopped working around that time?), so, maybe name brand is best if you can get it? Or, it could be just natural disease progression and adaptation to the meds.<br />I recall that I really made sure to drink lots of water all day long, but, otherwise, normal activities of living and socializing. I was walking nearly 3 miles a day 5 days a week, plus working 40+ hours a week and eating right, etc.<br />Good luck! I really hope this one brings you much more relief.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
